World traveler CDHM Artisan Tom Walden of Tom Walden Miniature Furniture jumped into the dollhouse miniature world after visiting a dollhouse shop in New Orleans in 1998. After buying full-scaled books on antique furniture, Tom started drawing out plans to develop his own style of 1:12 scale furniture pieces.
Tom also gives workshops, "The Magic of the Drill Press" where he will teach basic furniture building. Nowadays, Tom is creating beautifully crafted inlaid tilt top tables, parquet floors, and banjo styled grandfather clock to name but a few.
