I believe that CDHM Artisan Kerri Pajutee, IGMA Fellow Miniature Animals creations are so realistic looking in 1:12 scale due to her study of the anatomy of the animals long before she begins sculpting. Each of her animals has been hand drawn, then studied -- anatomically long before she begins sculpting. The result is that the animal looks like the real-life creature.
When looking at Kerri's works, you cannot help but consider product presentations. This is such an important part of selling your artwork to prospective customers. First impressions are critical. By presenting each animal in a setting that tugs at your heartstrings, one is naturally drawn to the animal and wants it. Kerri's has mastered this aspect.
